About us

Casa Felice is owned jointly by five members of our family. One is my sister, who worked for many years in Europe and has been used to renting villas in Italy for summer and winter holidays and weekends. I myself (Richard) taught English in Italy for a year, many years ago. We all love Italy and Casa Felice is for us as well as for rent.

We bought near Lake Como because it's so stunningly beautiful and the northern Lake is more open and less crowded, even in summer, than further south. It is perfect for relaxation or for water sports and outdoor activities of all kinds, yet there is also plenty to see and even cities like Milan are within easy reach. It is also very friendly: the real "small-town Italy" beloved by George Clooney - and ourselves.

Notes to rental rates

    The property is normally let from Saturday to Saturday but we will also consider Sunday to Sunday and other periods if these can be fitted in. We ask you to pay a 25% deposit to confirm your booking. This is non-returnable except in exceptional circumstances at our discretion. The balance is payable 6 weeks before arrival. together with a returnable £100 security deposit.

    There is a final cleaning charge of £50 per let, and a central heating charge of £40 per week between the start of October and the end of April. Other utilities are included in the price. Bed linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided and changed weekly. The property is cleaned with each change of guests.
